Mass for God’s Children

Peace to you!
I invite you join us for to the 6th annual Mass for God’s Children to be celebrated on Wednesday, November 3 at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew. This year Fr. Tom Page will offer this Memorial Mass for families to remember and celebrate the lives of children who have died before baptism. Priests wishing to concelebrate, please bring an alb. No need to RSVP.
Please extend this invitation to as many people as possible, including your own families and friends, as there are more people who have experienced the loss of a child before baptism than we know. This is the 6th year we have offered this Mass and it has been very well received. The families are grateful for the support and the opportunity to join together in prayer and healing.
Commonly asked questions:
Q: Does this include those grieving from miscarriage?
A: Absolutely, and perhaps especially. While Project Rachel retreats exist for those grieving the loss of a child through abortion, there are few opportunities for people grieving their loss through miscarriage or stillborn, etc.
Q: Are those who have had an abortion invited?
A. Of course! All are welcome.
Q: If we came last year may we register and come again this year?
A: Yes. It is important that we continue to pray with and for each other.
Any questions regarding this Mass please email or call.
