Celebrating the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The Prayer of Peace is contemplative, ecumenical, candlelight musical prayer in the spirit of Taizé. Few things are more conducive to a communion with the living God than a meditative common prayer with, as its high point, singing that stretches through time and that continues in the silence of one’s heart when one is alone again. Every year Christians across the world gather in prayer for growth in unity. The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity gives Christians across the world an annual opportunity to gather in prayer and continue our quest for the unity we already share in Christ.
