Instituted by Christ, the Church celebrates seven Sacraments through
which we receive the Grace of communion with God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The Sacraments use visible signs to confer a share in God’s eternal life.
Rite of Christian Initiation
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the ancient process the Catholic Church uses to form adults seeking baptism in the Catholic Church. The RCIA has three main phases: Inquiry, Catechumenate, and Mystagogia.
Baptism for Children
Baptism is the Sacrament of New Life in Christ, the Crucified and Risen One. The celebration of baptism for children usually takes place during Mass on the 2nd weekend of each month. Parents attend an information/preparation session at least one month prior to the baptism.
First Eucharist
The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. Children who have been baptized Catholic and are enrolled in our 2nd grade Faith Formation program are prepared for their First Communion.
Confirmation
Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit! The Sacrament of Confirmation increases and deepens baptismal Grace. Rooting us more deeply in our identity as beloved sons and daughters of God, the Holy Spirit is out-poured to make us true witnesses of Christ in word and deed.
